MY STORY

In my early twenties I was already passionate about photography. Capturing beauty that people don't see. I am genuinely happy when a ray of sunshine shines through, when facades have beautiful structures, when fine fabrics decorate a room, when the authentic character is preserved through craftsmanship, ... Capturing this in images is a privilege.

In addition to my profession as a graphic designer and illustrator, I also started photographing as a family photographer in my twenties. Newborn babies, families, first communicants, weddings, ... Along the way I got assignments to capture collections. Children's clothing brands, lifestyle shoots for women's boutiques, product shoots for ceramists, collection shoots for interior design stores, ...

And with a passion to make everything more beautiful, my husband and I bought a house in France in 2019. We renovated the house and made it a place where everyone would immediately feel at home. I took the first photos of our holiday home and tried to capture the atmosphere that the guests would experience, so that they could feel it through the images. I was really in my habitat. I could get so caught up in it, strip it down to the essence but also give it a very homely character.

This new passion was born in la douce France. Capturing holiday homes that other people have created with care and precision for their guests.

Capturing in images what they cannot explain in words.

I hope we can meet one day,

love Katleen
